Wao Villa

2 GUESTS

Wao Villa can accomodate 2 people.

The villa facing the seaview includes 1 bedroom with a private bathroom, a kitchen, a living room, a shaded terrace sheltering the dining area, a small infinity pool, a solarium, a sala. There is also a wooden way around the house, a guest toilet equipped with a shower and a washbasin, as well as a storage room.

On the hillside, Wao Villa, facing west, stretches out looking out over the sea view. It is made up of several separate buildings, distributed by a long terrace. Each part has been able to find its place between the large existing rocks and as none of its last has been moved, the villa is imbricated in this mineral nature.
Access to the accommodation is via a wooden path that goes around the building. Although this access is from the back, you can already guess the sea view through the large bay windows from side to side of the Villa and the discovery is like an enchantment at every step.
You will love the sala which is an outdoor but sheltered space and which will be a refuge for your meditation, your yoga or your idleness, propped up in large poofs installed on a net.

On the other side takes place the independent living room which allows a movie evening without disturbing the bedroom, the intimate swimming pool and, finally, the solarium leaning against a large rock.

You will love the view of the ocean and the surrounding natural setting, the privacy of the terrace, the swimming pool and the solarium, the bright, functional and fully equipped kitchen, you will love taking your shower while savoring the sea view.

FACING SEAVIEW

Enjoying the seaview from each part of the house was as much a challenge as successfully siting the buildings between the huge surrounding rocks.

The objective has been achieved and you will love this immersion in nature as much as the contemporary and refined comfort of this villa which combines modernity and the traditional character of a wooden and thatched roof.

CLARITY, TRANSPARENCY AND BREATHING

Transparency was essential in this construction project to have the impression of living outside. And we need light, right? What better than natural light! The sunshine and the humidity of the air in Koh Phangan make it necessary to ventilate the houses. Also the breathing of the house, helped by the little air that there is often on this height, is done by discreet mosquito nets.
